Supergirl Radio, a spin-off show from The Flash Podcast and part of DC TV Podcasts, is dedicated to The CW's Supergirl and the character of Kara Zor-El! Each week, the hosts give an in-depth analysis of Supergirl stories, report the latest news, and take listener feedback. Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist and is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Jessica Queller, and Robert Rovner. Supergirl had a big presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con where cast and producers revealed what we can expect in the third season of the series. Supergirl Radio/DC TV Podcasts participated in the press room for Supergirl this year where Amy Marie Hypnarowski (of The Flash Podcast and Legends of Tomorrow Podcast) chatted with the cast at the round tables to get some new details on Season 3.

One of the cast members who attended was the Girl of Steel herself, Melissa Benoist, who plays the Last Daughter of Krypton. Throughout the round table interview, Benoist teased several things for Kara in Season 3 such as:

-Benoist on how she feels about interacting with passionate female viewers

-What Benoist thinks about Reign coming to the third season to stir some trouble for the Girl of Steel

-How Benoist felt about bringing Calista Flockhart’s Cat Grant in Season 2 and teasing her role in the Season 3 premiere

-The addition of Erica Durance taking over for Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El in Season 3

-What it feels like to be on The CW now instead of CBS and how the network feels like a safe home with the other DCTV shows

-A tease about this year’s crossover event with the other shows in the DCTV Universe
