Season 5 of The CW drama Supergirl is looking to be its biggest year yet, with a milestone episode with the 100th episode, new foes, new chapters and a massive crossover that takes one of the biggest DC stories to screen. At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and executive producers of Supergirl were present to preview the new season that will arrive in October. The Flash Podcast took part in the press room this year to discuss with the actors and executive producer on what to expect in Season 5.
Two of the talents that were present were James Olsen and Nia Nal themselves as Mehcad Brooks and Nicole Maines chatted with the press about things to look forward to in the new season. Things that they talked about included:
*Brooks on exiting the series as James Olsen and what he is doing next.
*Maines on whether or not we will revisit the storyline between Nia and her sister after their conflict in Season 4.
*Where the relationship will be going between Nia and Brainy (Jesse Rath) in the new season.
*Whether or not James might pop up on the show again down the line.
